“Growing up in the metropolitan Detroit area, many of the excellent physicians who inspired me to go into medicine were Wayne State University School of Medicine graduates, and I couldn't shake how special it would feel to follow in their footsteps as a Warrior M.D. Additionally, the quality of care I received from these physicians was unmatched, so I knew that Wayne would be a place where I would set a strong foundation to my future medical career. I only became more confident of this and attracted to the school when I realized how hands-on the curriculum is, from clinical skills to cadaver dissection.
